Original overnight stay among the cows

There are two 8-person Grondulows and four 5-person Grondulows on our farm, right in the middle of the cow pasture. These spacious and very comfortable half-round holiday cottages with log roof will give you the best possible experience of life on the farm and in the beautiful countryside.

Since February 2020, we also rent out a 12-person 'GroupGrondulow' (with group space for 40 people) and a 6-person 'Grondulow'. These new eco-accommodations are specially built with healthy materials and low radiation.

Group accommodation

You can also stay at 'Koe in de Kost' with a large group. We have a total of 44 beds at our farm, spread across seven holiday accommodations and a total of 18 bedrooms. We can prepare a group room for up to 25 people for you.

Good to know

You'll stay in one of our fully equipped Grondulows. At your request, we'll ensure your beds are made. We do ask you to bring your own towels and table linen. There is no television in the Grondulows for a good reason; it's a lot easier to relax in the countryside without television. We do provide lots of games, magazines and books. You can freely use our Wi-Fi. But we also offer the option to have it turned off before you arrive, in case you truly want to get away from it all. Our arrival times start at 16:00. Departure time on Sunday is 18:00 and 10:00 on weekdays.

What our guests say

Stayed here for a midweek with my wife and daughter (2.5 years old). Location is amazing. Owners Truus en Frans and the rest of the family are the nicest people you will meet. The 'grondulows' are wonderfull. There are plenty of ways to entertain kids: from their trampoline to water to seeing the cows, to hunting for chicken eggs.

Melle

Our group of 7 stayed in the old farmhouse, based on a small working dairy farm with a whole host of other animals. Cows, ponies, rabbits, chickens, dogs and cats House was comfortable was pleasantly furnished and with a full mod cons kitchen. No TV but decent wi-fi. There's also a room full of books, magazines and board games.
